Cycling in Maremma: The Magic of Ingravel

Cycling in Maremma

Maremma isn’t just for drinking. It’s for living. And for riding.
What happens when a unique land like this meets the energy of two wheels and the convivial spirit of wine?
You get Ingravel, the non-competitive cycling event that blends sport, landscape, and food & wine discovery.

Thanks to a renewed partnership with Ingravel, the Consorzio Morellino di Scansano fully embraces the world of cycling tourism. Andrea Gurayev and Werner Peruzzo of Saturnia Bike organize the event.

Ingravel 2025: All Roads Leads to Magliano in Toscana

On September 13–14, 2025, the new edition of Ingravel will beat at the heart of Magliano in Toscana, a medieval village nestled among vineyards and olive groves, overlooking the sea, steeped in Mediterranean scents.

The event unfolds along white roads, rolling hills, charming hamlets, and local wineries, in a journey of climbs and descents, stunning views, shared toasts, and spontaneous smiles.

Uphill, downhill. Then again. Stop. Sip. Smile. Reflect. Laugh. Live.
This could very well be the Ingravel philosophy: no competition, just sport, territory, and togetherness.

Three Routes, One spirit

Ingravel isn’t a race. It’s an experience.

  • Long Route: 100 km with over 1800 meters of elevation gain. For those seeking a real challenge.
  • Short Route: 45 km and 900 meters. For those who want to ride and soak in the view.
  • Social Ride: 45 km, 600 meters. A relaxed, accessible ride to enjoy the Maremma in “slow mode.”

The True Value of the Experience

Ingravel is an invitation to slow down, to breathe, to share.
It’s where wine meets people and landscapes.
It’s about rediscovering the joy of going slow, of effort that feels good, and of raw, unfiltered beauty.

Find out more at www.ingravel.com or www.saturnia.bike and get ready to experience a different side of Maremma.
And then, maybe, end the day with a glass of Morellino….because every ride deserves its toast.
