Our Why
Vino & Beyond was founded by Patrizia Vigolo, an Italian wine expert with a passion for the bella vita and a desire to share it through stories of taste and travel.
Patrizia specializes in wine, food, lifestyle, and tourism. Without pretension, she aims to convey her experience — enriched by years of expertise in the food and wine sector — to tell meaningful stories about what she has discovered in the world of wine and gastronomy.
Although she is not a native English speaker, she has chosen to write in English to reach a broader, international audience. Please forgive any small imperfections in the translation — inclusivity and openness are at the heart of this project.
Her focus is on Italian culture, but she also seeks to explore stories of people, places, foods, and wines that express personality, a vibrant soul, and uniqueness.
This is the beginning of a bright, exciting journey — one that Patrizia embraces with a smile and a glass of wine in hand.

Patrizia Vigolo
Don’t call me Patrizia, call me Patty.
Curious by nature, I am an enterprising person, always seeking new horizons and new stimuli, and in the world of wine, I have found what satisfies me.
For over 15 years, I have worked as a freelance consultant in international sales and marketing, specializing in supporting Italian wineries.
As a wine expert with an AIS Sommelier and WSET Level 3 certification, I have been invited to participate in various international wine competitions, which consistently sharpen my tasting skills.
I collaborate with various industry magazines, both national and international.
You will often find me in the company of friends and family, enjoying gastronomic delights in a warm and convivial atmosphere, very often in the mountains or surrounded by nature.
I love wine because it allows me to create unique and wonderful connections with people from all over the world. My magical phrase? “Wine is a passport to the world” by Thom Elkjer.
